Soccer Game Preview: West Branch vs. Chagrin Falls

The West Branch Warriors will face off against the Chagrin Falls Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Chagrin Falls will take on a team with plenty of momentum: West Branch extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Warriors never let Woodridge get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering West Branch's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Woodridge are ranked 374th).

West Branch's offense was hitting Woodridge from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Alinee Bacconi led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Chagrin Falls won against Keystone last Tuesday with eight goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past Champion 8-0. That's two games straight that Chagrin Falls have won by exactly eight goals.

West Branch's win bumped their record up to 15-0-2. As for Chagrin Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7-1.
