Softball Recap: La Salle Institute Takes a Loss

La Salle Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Cohoes Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Cadets have lost by exactly five runs.

La Salle Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Cohoes, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. La Salle Institute is set to face off against their familiar foe Ichabod Crane at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cohoes will square off against rival Academy of the Holy Names at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
