Sidney has gone 9-1 against Hardin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sidney is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Billings Central Catholic just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by the Rams and fell 52-14. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed eight in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brody Keysor, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Hardin lost 44-22 to Custer County on Friday.

Sidney will have to contain Darrell Lefthand as he made an impact in Hardin's last game. He threw for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 74 yards and one score.

Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sidney, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Sidney was able to grind out a solid victory over Hardin in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 27-20. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Lefthand, who rushed for 66 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 125 yards and one touchdown.
