Bryce Fontenot, Cherokee Bluff's leader in home runs on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Nobody could stop Fontenot as he fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Cherokee Bluff is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-10 otherwise.

Fontenot's strong effort led Cherokee Bluff over West Hall and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears are 6-1 against the Spartans going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
