Baseball Game Preview: Brentwood Christian Bears vs. Grace Prep Lions

The Brentwood Christian Bears are taking a road trip to square off against the Grace Prep Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brentwood Christian has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Brentwood Christian came up short against Hyde Park on Friday, falling 13-6. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brentwood Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Hunka, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another was Jack Hansen, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Grace Prep waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since April 12, 2024.

Brentwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Grace Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-7-1.
