Basketball Game Preview: Piketon Redstreaks vs. McClain Tigers

Piketon is on a three-game streak of home wins, while McClain is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Piketon Redstreaks will host the McClain Tigers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Piketon beat Eastern 47-43.

Meanwhile, McClain was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Jackson 51-18. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Piketon has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for McClain, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

Things could have been worse for Piketon, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-33 loss to McClain in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
