Basketball Recap: Westbrook Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Westbrook and Mt. Ararat squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Westbrook had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to the Mt. Ararat Eagles. The Blue Blazes haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Westbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Mt. Ararat, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Westbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Ararat, they will square off against Brunswick at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
