Volleyball Recap: Sebastian Delgado and Daniel Fleitas Secure Win for Braddock

If Homestead wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Braddock, they should've done a better job of containing Adrian Martin. The Braddock Bulldogs blew past the Homestead Broncos 3-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Martin, who had nine digs and five aces. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-20.

Leading Braddock to victory were Daniel Fleitas and Sebastian Delgado. Fleitas had 14 digs, while Delgado had six assists. Those 14 digs gave Fleitas a new career-high. Luis Hernandez also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.

Braddock was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win got Braddock back to even at 4-4. As for Homestead, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Braddock will face off against True North Classical Academy on Friday. As for Homestead, they will square off against North Miami at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
