A Season-Best Performance from Aj Lowe Leads Sulligent over Lamar County
Aj Lowe produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sulligent to the win on Friday. Lowe rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Lowe must have Lamar County's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Lowe rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Preston Lancaster's big game helped extend Tuscaloosa Academy's winning streak to six on Friday. Lancaster did his part (and then some), throwing for 327 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 75 yards on only ten carries for the 'W'. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
If the past is any indication, Lancaster could be in store for another big game when he takes on Lamar County on Friday. Lancaster threw for 338 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September of 2023.

Landon Archer Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Vincent had to settle for second even though Landon Archer put up the best numbers he has all season. Archer picked up 189 receiving yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
With the loss, Vincent broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1. It'll be a Battle of the Bugs Yellow Jackets faces off against Aliceville on Friday.

Kelvies Snoddy Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Kelvies Snoddy posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. Snoddy and Greene County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vincent at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
