Cache Carter put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Carter's effort led Herriman over Copper Hills and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
