Corey Vazquez Game Report: vs South Boston

Corey Vazquez gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

Vazquez's strong effort led Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT over South Boston and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
