Volleyball Recap: Liberty Common Takes a Loss

Liberty Common extended their losing streak to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 2-19. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northridge Grizzlies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Northridge, the win snapped their losing streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 2-18 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 18th.

Among those leading the charge was Aiyana Diaz, who had 22 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Looking ahead, Liberty Common will square off against Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Greeley Central on the 27th.
