Basketball Game Preview: Northwood Rangers vs. North Baltimore Tigers

The Northwood Rangers are taking a road trip to challenge the North Baltimore Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northwood is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since February 12, 2024 on Monday. They put the hurt on Woodward with a sharp 51-28 win. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, North Baltimore beat Ridgemont 40-27 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Northwood better keep an eye on Lacie Allison. She was instrumental in North Baltimore's win, shooting 5-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. Allison's evening made it 18 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Kaylee Allison was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Northwood's record is now 3-18. As for North Baltimore, their record now sits at 13-7.

Everything came up roses for Northwood against North Baltimore in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 50-21 win. In that game, Northwood amassed a halftime lead of 41-5, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
