New Diana won the last time they faced Jefferson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

New Diana walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-20.

Chloe Green paced New Diana's offense, picking up 12 kills. Green got some help from Ava Smith and her 20 assists. Green was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

New Diana's victory bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Diana will challenge rival Harmony at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Daingerfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
