Recap: Hershey Panthers vs. Broken Bow Indians

The Hershey Panthers were the 44-40 winner over the Broken Bow Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Hershey suffered a rough 63-39 loss at the hands of Broken Bow on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Hershey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Broken Bow is ranked 24th).

Hershey's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aubry Hall, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals, and Kenna Bringewatt who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her.

This is the second loss in a row for Hershey and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Broken Bow, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hershey will finish 2023 at home by hosting Doniphan-Trumbull at 5:00 p.m. on December 29th. Broken Bow will be home for the holidays to greet Northwest on Friday. Northwest has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three contests.
