Basketball Game Preview: Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks vs. Stratford Tigers

The Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks will head out to square off against the Stratford Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Weyauwega-Fremont came up short against Amherst and fell 65-54. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Stratford waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 74-64 win over the Redmen. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Stratford pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Weyauwega-Fremont might still be hurting after the 71-50 defeat they got from Stratford in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can Weyauwega-Fremont avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
