Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonald). They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 77-40 victory over the Lordstown Red Devils. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 31 points or more this season.

McDonald got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Zajack out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Zajack is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Cappuzzello, who went 5 for 9 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

McDonald was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

McDonald's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Lordstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

McDonald wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-44 win against Western Reserve on the 31st. Lordstown has also already played their next matchup, a 45-34 loss against Chalker on the 31st.
