Baseball Recap: Willamette Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Willamette, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Medford Black Tornado by a score of 7-4 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 back in April.

Willamette pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for North Medford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Willamette will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Black Tornado: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
