Hackleburg extended their postseason success on Thursday against Athens Bible. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Trojans a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 25 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hackleburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Athens Bible, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-17.

Hackleburg has already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Lynn on the 8th. Athens Bible does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
