Baseball Recap: Abraham Lincoln Wins Going Away Against MAST Charter II

Abraham Lincoln had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt MAST Charter II on Friday. Abraham Lincoln put the hurt on MAST Charter II with a sharp 16-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Railsplitters, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Yogenni Perez was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.3 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Hernandez-Mercedes, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
