Baseball Recap: Churchill Takes a Loss

The matchup between Churchill and Brandeis on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Churchill fell 13-8 to Brandeis. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Churchill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Brandeis, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

While Churchill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
