Volleyball Recap: Maloney Spartans vs. Lewis Mills Spartans
Maloney waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against Lewis Mills as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Maloney also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
While Maloney won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-23.
Nathan Vitelli paced Maloney's offense, picking up 20 kills. Vitelli got some help from Galo Cadena and his 26 assists. Vitelli was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.
