Softball Game Preview: Arlington Colts vs. Berkner Rams

For the second straight game, Arlington will face off against Berkner. The Colts will square off against the Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arlington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Arlington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Berkner as they made off with a 15-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Colts, who have now won 20 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Arlington got a great performance from Emerson Ray as she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Faith Salas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Giddings, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs.
