Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benjamin Franklin). They put the hurt on the Apache Junction Prospectors with a sharp 12-1 victory on Monday. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Prospectors, too.

Benjamin Franklin's offense was hitting Apache Junction from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal. Ayman Amer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Benjamin Franklin pushed their record up to 7-5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four games. As for Apache Junction, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Benjamin Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Globe on the 4th. Apache Junction does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
