Volleyball Recap: Kenston Bombers vs. Mentor Cardinals
After flying high against Hathaway Brown on Monday, Kenston came back down to earth. The Bombers lost 3-0 to the Mentor Cardinals on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bombers have suffered since September 16, 2024.
Kenston took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-19, 25-23.
Avari Amstutz paced Kenston's offense, picking up eight kills. Amstutz got some help from Emily Grubich and her nine assists. Maci Amstutz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
