Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeline vs. Hunter

The Ridgeline Riverhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Hunter Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeline will be strutting in after a win while Hunter will be coming in after a loss.

Ridgeline's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Hurricane with a sharp 7-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Riverhawks considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Hunter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Stansbury.

Hunter's goal came courtesy of Kallin Banza, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hunter's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ridgeline, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Ridgeline was able to grind out a solid victory over Hunter in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgeline since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
