Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Allegheny walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Greater Latrobe Wildcats with a sharp 5-0 victory on Saturday. Considering West Allegheny have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Greater Latrobe with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anthony Mimna (2), Milo Kent, Colton Yonker, and Jonah Luffe.

The win was the fourth in a row for West Allegheny, bringing their record up to 12-7. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matches. As for Greater Latrobe, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

West Allegheny wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Hampton on the 22nd. Greater Latrobe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
