After losing to Van the last time they met, Mount View decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Knights came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 8-5 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Knights.
Kyrece Hughes and Hunter Muncy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Hughes pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Muncy struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. At the plate, Hughes scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances, while Muncy went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
