Basketball Game Preview: North Miami Warriors vs. Rochester Zebras

North Miami is 1-9 against Rochester since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The North Miami Warriors will challenge the Rochester Zebras at 7:30 p.m.

North Miami is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 75-53 to Peru. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Tigers are ranked 184th).

Meanwhile, Rochester waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Norsemen with points to spare, taking the game 60-44.

Rochester has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for North Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

North Miami might still be hurting after the 74-51 defeat they got from Rochester when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can North Miami avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
