Lincoln fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Fort Lupton on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bluedevils by a score of 10-9. The Lancers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Fort Lupton, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.

Coming up, Lincoln will look to defend their home field on Monday against Manual at 4:30 p.m. The Thunderbolts will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Lupton, they will head out to challenge SkyView Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
