Basketball Game Preview: Centennial Knights vs. Jasper County Hurricanes

The Centennial Knights will take on the Jasper County Hurricanes in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Jasper County likes a good challenge.

While Centennial didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 80-40 victory over Alpharetta. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 30 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Jasper County, as they earned their first road win of the season. They slipped by Jackson 56-55 on Saturday.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Jasper County, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3.
