Baseball Recap: Pioneer Panthers vs. Oregon-Davis Bobcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pioneer). They were the clear victors by a 21-3 margin over the Oregon-Davis Bobcats on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Dawson Eggers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Noah Miller was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and four runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
