The Heights was handed a eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They skirted past the Avalon Black Knights 5-3. For The Heights, this counts as revenge for the 6-3 win Avalon walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Will Lepre, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Jackson McDonnell also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The Heights' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Avalon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
