Softball Recap: Shikellamy Comes Up Short

Shikellamy managed to slip by Central Mountain the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Braves came up short against the Wildcats on Thursday, falling 12-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Braves' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Shikellamy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Keller, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Shikellamy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Central Mountain, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Shikellamy and Central Mountain will both be playing Jersey Shore the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Braves will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
