Volleyball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Comes Up Short

Tri-West Hendricks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Lawrence North Wildcats, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-15.

Jett Lawson paced Tri-West Hendricks' offense, picking up five kills. Lawson got some help from Kaleb Pfeifer and his seven assists. Finally, Landon Dinkel kept Tri-West Hendricks' defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Tri-West Hendricks' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lawrence North, they moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Tri-West Hendricks has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Madison on the 19th. As for Lawrence North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Lawrence Central on the 17th.
