Football Recap: Sunbright Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sunbright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Oakdale Eagles, falling 36-12. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 33-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ehren Northrup threw for 52 yards and one TD. On the ground, Josh Argubright rushed for 47 yards.

Sunbright's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Oakdale, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunbright will face off against Unaka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakdale, they will challenge Wartburg Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
