Connetquot faced Cicero-North Syracuse in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The T-Birds walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Northstars. The win was familiar territory for the T-Birds, who have now won five contests in a row.

Colin O'Connor paced Connetquot's offense, picking up ten kills. O'Connor got some help from TJ D'Antonio and his 27 assists. Finally, Ryan Sguigna kept Connetquot's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Connetquot's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.

Connetquot has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Penfield on the 22nd. Cicero-North Syracuse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
