Baseball Recap: Beggs Takes a Loss

Beggs pushed their score to 11 the last time they played Sequoyah, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. Beggs fell just short of Sequoyah by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Demons have suffered since April 2, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Beggs and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Sequoyah, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Beggs will face off against Mannford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beggs is facing Mannford at the right time seeing as Mannford is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sequoyah, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Roland at 11:00 a.m. Sequoyah will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Roland will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's match.
