Basketball Recap: Pike Central Takes a Loss

Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 54-19 loss at the hands of the North Daviess Cougars. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Pike Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for North Daviess, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Pike Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-19 defeat against North Posey on the 18th. North Daviess has also already played their next game (against Mitchell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
