Monday just wasn't the day for Pine Bush's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders on Monday. The Bushmen's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pine Bush's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Monroe-Woodbury, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Pine Bush will face off against Marlboro Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bushmen 2.7, the Dukes 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they will square off against Newburgh Free Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Goldbacks have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
