Pearl City wins going away against River Ridge

The Pearl City Wolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They strolled past River Ridge with points to spare, taking the game 73-55. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Pearl City as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why River Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joe Winter. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Winter continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Rife, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Pearl City's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for River Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl City will take on Hinckley-Big Rock at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for River Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Ashton-Franklin Center at 1:30 p.m.
