You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Southwest DeKalb on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lithonia Bulldogs with a sharp 60-37 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Southwest DeKalb was led to victory by Kelvin Peek, III and Jackson Ushery. Peek, III went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points along with six boards and five blocks, while Ushery posted 17 points. Those five blocks gave Peek, III a new career-high. Messiah Mergan was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

Southwest DeKalb smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Southwest DeKalb is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season. As for Lithonia, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
