Recap: Liberty Leopards vs. Crestview Rebels
The Liberty Leopards lost against the Crestview Rebels back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Liberty was dealt a 67-26 defeat at the hands of Crestview. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Liberty in their matchups with Crestview: they've now lost four in a row.
Crestview found their leader in underclassman Addison Rhodes, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Rhodes has scored at least 25% of Crestview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luvrain Gaskins, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Crestview, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Liberty will be playing at home against South Range at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestview, they will head out on the road to face off against Struthers at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
