Volleyball Game Preview: New Mission Titans vs. Brockton Boxers

New Mission hasn't had much luck against Brockton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans will face off against the Boxers at 5:15 p.m. New Mission will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

While New Mission's victory against Boston Latin Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Dragons on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Brockton made easy work of Diman RVT on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Brockton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 31-29, 25-22, 25-18.

New Mission's record is now 7-3. As for Brockton, their record now sits at 15-1.

New Mission suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Brockton in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
