Softball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss

Irving lost against Seward Park two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Irving fell just short of Seward Park by a score of 15-14. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (13), Irving still had to take the loss.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Seward Park, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3.

Irving didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-16 loss against DeWitt Clinton on the 10th. As for Seward Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-13 defeat against Math Science & Engineering on the 10th.
