Malachi Graham-Morrow was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. Mathew Solaiza was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five steals.
Madison Highland Prep has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a rough 62-33 loss at the hands of Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Madison Highland Prep has scored all season.
Leading Edge Academy - GEC pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Madison Highland Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
Everything came up roses for Leading Edge Academy - GEC against Madison Highland Prep in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 89-32 win. With Leading Edge Academy - GEC ahead 63-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
