Football Game Preview: Lockport Porters vs. Barrington Fillies/Broncos + How To Watch

The Lockport Porters will be playing in front of their home fans against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a seven-game winning streak alive.

Lockport is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They slipped by Homewood-Flossmoor 21-20. 21 seems to be a good number for the Porters as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Barrington didn't have too much trouble with Glenbrook South on Friday as they won 38-20. Given the Fillies/Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Titans are ranked 45th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Barrington's win came from a few key players Lockport will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Luke Tepas, who threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September. A healthy portion of Tepas' aerial production (121 yards to be exact) went to Austin Coles, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Barrington's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Jaxson Werner and Owen Fors, who each picked up two sacks apiece. Barrington got some further help from Werner: he picked up two sacks, made 11 total tackles, and defended one pass.

Lockport's record now sits at 8-3. As for Barrington, their record is now 10-1.
