Softball Preview: North Fort Myers Red Knights vs. Evangelical Christian Sentinels        
        
		
            
 The North Fort Myers Red Knights will play host again  on Friday to welcome the Evangelical Christian Sentinels, where first pitch is scheduled  at 6:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Tuesday, North Fort Myers never let their opponents score. They blew past Bonita Springs 10-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for North Fort Myers considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
 North Fort Myers got a great performance from  Jordyn Prado as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Prado has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Abigail Hynes was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.  Taylor Stewart was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Evangelical Christian entered their tilt with Lakewood Ranch with five consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp  9-0 win on Tuesday.
 Not much got past  Hayden Billie, who gave up just  six  hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Lakewood Ranch off the board.
 At the plate,  Kylie Shaw was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Makenzie Thompson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 North Fort Myers' victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Evangelical Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with that  win, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  both teams just can't seem to miss. North Fort Myers has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 12.1  hits per game. However, it's not like Evangelical Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 2.9. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
