Basketball Recap: Elizabethton Comes Up Short

Elizabethton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 81-59 to the Greeneville Greene Devils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (58), the Fighting Cyclones still had to take the loss.

Elizabethton's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Greeneville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Elizabethton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greeneville, they will challenge Tennessee on Tuesday.
