Softball Recap: Ingomar Wins Going Away Against Palmer

Ingomar got themselves on the board against Palmer on Tuesday, but Palmer never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Dragons. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won three matchups by 16 runs or more so far this season.

Ingomar is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Palmer, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Ingomar will head out to square off against Water Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Palmer, they will host Rosa Fort at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
